I'm Emily, the founder of Chatten Psychotherapy. I'm so lucky to say I LOVE what I do. I'm passionate about truly connecting with people and exploring their story, together.
Many of my clients come to me because they feel their mental health is getting in the way of daily life and relationships, often feeling like they are not living the life they desire. In our sessions, whether through couples therapy or individual therapy, we will explore your past and present thoughts, feelings, and relationships to better understand your unique experience. I can assist you in building strategies or simply be there to listen – therapy is your time, and you have control over every step of the process.
A quote I always have in mind when I enter the therapy room is, “This too shall pass.” By considering this, we remember that no challenge or feeling is permanent, despite what our minds might tell us. This perspective is essential in both individual therapy and couples therapy, as it encourages us to cherish what we have, recognizing that every day is precious.
